I have taken trainings wih some of the best in the industry. I have a background heavy in both medicine and children and know how to safely handle babies, even with other than usual circumstances. I bring all the props in a color pallete YOU CHOOSE. You don’t need to shop for items. I have an incredible curated collection from my favorite newborn-specific vendors from all around the world. they are designed to fit well and photograph beautifully. You don’t need to travel or bring toddlers into a studio for hours on end. I come to you, I bring the things, I pack them up, and leave you with no mess, just a collection of beautiful images. I also provide the option to purchase heirloom-quality photo products after, with absolutely no pressure to buy or upsell. I want you to end up with only what you absolutely love.
Where?
Anywhere in AZ. I build this into my pricing and travel all around for these sessions. I grew up all around the Phoenix area and lived briefly in Flagstaff as well. I don’t care if you are in Sedona, Tucson, or Scottsdale, I’ve got you!
When?
For newborns, 10-21 days is my preferred range. PREFERRED. I never turn away a baby for being too old, we will make it work, you will have a beautiful gallery, it may just be filled with less poses and more expressions. Again, I’ve got you! I do NOT photograph newborn sessions before 10 days (except Fresh 48-styled sessions, it is NOT the same as a newborn) and I will NOT shoot day 22… Day 9 and 22 are my least favorite, BUT day 10 and 21 are my favorites. It’s strange, different people have different experiences, but for me, there it is.
When DO YOU BOOK?
Oh, the other when. As soon as you know you want a newborn session and have looked at the packages! My schedule involves a lot of commuting between states and 4 kids that I like to spend time with, so the earlier I know, THE BETTER! We set a tentative date around 2 weeks from you due date and this almost always works out just fine, but when baby does come extra early or extra late, just do you best to communicate with me ASAP. The sooner I know, the sooner we can make date changes. I plan vacations and holiday celebrations all around my work calendar, so don’t wait until the last minute!
